The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Oreland Dean can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Larry Beres
Condolence: I was shocked to learn of "Orly's" passing just yesterday. We talked on the phone just prior to his death renewing an acquaintance that goes back to the 8 years we spent together at Queen Mary and then PACI and of course many, many good time at the Grotto Pool Room in P.A. I know Oreland will be missed by the many friends and family who knew him well but he will also be missed by those of us who haven't seen him in a long term due to geographic distance. Rest in peace friend!

Condolence From: Fred and Jackie Helgeton
Condolence: We want to extend our sincere sympathy to Doreen and the entire family. Unfortunately we are unable to attend today’s service but our thoughts will be with you and we will raise a glass to celebrate Oreland’s life. He was an exceptional guy. We loved his wit, humour, energy and thoughtfulness. If they were still living I know both Wildrew and my brother Tommy would be reaching out to you as well – they both held Oreland in very high regard. – Fred and Jackie Helgeton

Condolence From: Bryon Kernaghan
Condolence: Went to school with Oreland for many years, lived in the West end with him. He was a well known name in our neighborhood, a great guy and a friend to many. Will miss the thought that he's not with us.
I know he had a GOOD life.
