Obituary for Desiree McDonald

Desiree  McDonald
Desiree McDonald, late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away on January 1, 2017 in Prince Albert, SK. Desiree was born in The Pas, Manitoba on January 15, 2001. She lived most of her life in Prince Albert. She was a beautiful loving young lady who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She always had the most brightest smile and the biggest heart made of gold. Her outgoing personality had a timeless affect with all who knew and met her. She was strong willed, her family would most likely say stubborn, it was her way or the highway. She was athletic and loved many sports. Her competitive nature assisted her to overcome obstacles that came her way. She received her education in various schools in Prince Albert, where she met many friends. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand, to her family and friends. She generously showed her love for family by always telling them “I Love You”, to her parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. For her nephews and niece she held a special place in her heart for them. She will be remembered in our hearts and we will forever cherish the time and precious memories we were blessed to have with her. Desiree will be lovingly remembered by her parents: Eugene “John Boy” and Dorothy Fosseneuve; her brothers: Brandon McDonald, and Ferris Morin; her sisters: Whitney McDonald, Veronica McDonald, and Maurissa Fosseneuve; her nephews: Elijah, Koen, and Reign; her niece: Alaysia; her grandparents: Wanda Richard, and Ernestine Bart McDonald; her aunts: Cindy (Pat) Chaboyer, Rochelle (Conrad) Garrioch, Brenda (Freddy) McDonald, Bertha (Felix) Mercredi, Diane McDonald, and Beverly McDonald; her uncles: Leighton Fosseneuve, Jay (Alice) Fosseneuve, Benny (Bertha) McDonald, Johnny (Linda) McDonald, Darryl (Florence) McDonald, Danny (Jodi) McDonald, and William (Theresa); her great-aunts: Diane Francoeur, Brenda Francoeur, Irene McDonald, and May Sayazie; her great-uncles: Charlie Fosseneuve, George McDonald, Gary Francoeur, and Tim Richards; her god parents: Bertha and Felix Mercredi; her special friends: Keagen Dickens, Delaney Sewap, Reanda Morin, Kalin, Charlette, Clarence Sewap, Elisha, Eliza Fosseneuve and Ethan Merasty; as well as numerous cousins, friends, and all who knew her. Desiree was predeceased by her great-great-grandparents: Eliza and Felix Fosseneuve, Annie and Baptiste Richard; her great-grandparents: Lucy Fosseneuve-Steritt, William and Veronica McDonald, Louise and Eli Henerazie , and Napolean Mercredi; her grandfather: Maurice Fosseneuve “Papa”; her uncle: Dennis McDonald; her great-aunts: Judy Cook, Margaret Sewap, Rhonda Richard, Donna Fosseneuve, Dora McDonald, Helen Robillard, Albertine McDonald, Christine Steritt, and Georgina Roselor; and her great-uncles: Peter Fosseneuve “Achus”, Leonard Fosseneuve, Andrew Mercredi, Paul Mercredi, Edward McDonald, Joe McDonald, and Magolir Sayazie. A Wake Service will be commencing on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 – 4:00PM at the Senator Allen Bird Gym, Prince Albert, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 – 2:00PM at Veterans Hall, Cumberland House, SK. Arrangements in care of MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium.
