John Boettcher

John Boettcher quietly went to be with his Lord and Saviour, December 26,2016, at his daughter's home in Yorkton, Saskatchewan where he resided. John was born July 13, 1924 in Schuler, Alberta.
He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years Elsie (Wendt) Boettcher, his parents Nathaniel and Martha (Plitt) Boettcher, his parents-in-law Fred and Lydia (Warm) Wendt, his sisters and their husbands; Amelia (Emil) Christmann, Ruth (Fred) Flaig and a brother Fred and wife, (Helen) Boettcher; a sister-in-law Florence Boettcher, and a brother-in-law Gerold Wendt.
He is survived by his 12 children; Linda (Darwin) Brown, Donna, Gloria (Peter) Wall, Stan (Donna), Sharon (Denny) Lish, Al (Ruth), Darrell (Cathy), Gord, Dave (Rhonda), Bob (Diana), Darcy (Johanna), Barb (Scott) McLean; 27 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sisters; Emma Haag, Mary Fischer, and a brother Bill, all of Medicine Hat, Alberta; and two sisters-in-law; Vi (Dave) Ratcliffe and Shirley (Richard) Cuell of Calgary, Alberta.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to: McKenzie Funeral Home in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Funeral service at the chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home at 2:00PM Friday, December 30, 2016. Interment to follow at Memorial Gardens, Garden of The Old Rugged Cross. – Stan Boettcher Officiating
