Obituary for Chester Orville Bear


Chester Orville Bear was born on March 7, 1941 on Muskoday First Nation (John Smith Reserve) and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Victoria Union Hospital in Prince Albert, SK.
He was predeceased by his father Ingram Bear and his mother Sarah Bear and his brother William Bear.

He is survived by his sister Muriel Cecile Joyce Bear (John) and numerous nieces and nephews. Chester loved to meet and have coffee with friends and tell stories of days gone by. He had a keen sense of wit and sense of humour. He loved going to the pony and chuckwagon races and talking about sports.

Prayer service will be held on October 2, 2016 at 7pm at the Muskoday Band Hall. His funeral service will be held on October 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm at St. James Anglican Church on Muskoday First Nation. As per his wishes, he will be cremated and interred at a later date at Muskoday Cemetery
